OVERVIEW OF AMERIGO
The players aid Amerigo Vespucci through his journey discovering new land. Through their journey, the players will build settlements and secure trading routes throughout the islands of South America. The actions of the players are chosen by using a specialized cube tower. The tower begins by being filled with various actions to choose from, but they quickly slim down. Travel, earn points, and be safe!
SETUP
Begin setup by laying out all of the island tiles, forming an island. Ensure that none of the water zones are surrounded by only land. Land spaces must connect in ways that are not only diagonally, but also orthogonally. On the time order space, orient the time markers in ascending order.
Players will then collect one player sheet and the game pieces that are in their chosen color. Then each player will then place a scoring disc onto the starting space of their progress, gold tracks, and cannons. The village tiles are then placed facing down beside their neutral landscape tiles.
Put the storage board beside the gameboard. Shuffle the pirate meeples and put five of them on the pirate areas facing down. The rest of the pirate markers can be placed in the box. Shuffle the progress tokens beside the storage board, and place one on each one of the spaces of the progress spaces.
Each one of the player’s victory point discs are placed on the first space of the victory point track, stacked randomly. The player who’s discs land on top of the stack becomes the first player. The dice tower is the last thing to place beside the storage board. All of the 49 cubes into the lower are then dropped into the tower. The game is ready to begin.
GAMEPLAY
The game is played through the course of five rounds, each consisting of seven phases. To begin the first phase, the first player will drop all of the blue cubes into the dice tower. To begin the next phase, drop all cubes of the correct color into the dice tower. vật tư nông nghiệp
Move Ships
The player will add blue cubes to the dice tower. The first player who chooses this action will place two of their ships on the frame. Any number of ships can stay on a frame space, but each eater space in an island may only have one ship. A player can establish as many trading posts as they want on each island.
Load Cannons
When players choose this action, then the black cubes are used. The player then moves their cannon disc on their player sheet a single space to the right. They may move one spot for each action point, and they may move a maximum of twelve spaces.
Plan
If a player chooses this action, they may collect landscape tiles or village tiles from their supply and place them to the side of their player sheet. If they take one of their village tiles, then it costs one AP. Depending on the side of the landscape tile, it may cost one to six AP. This action uses the red cubes.
Progress
If a player chooses this action, they will use the brown cubes. The player will move their progress disc one space clockwise for each action point that they use. The player will score victory points equal to the highest number they have reached.
